It’s been a rum old year for I LIKE TRAINS, and not just because they’ve lost that peculiar way of writing their name (iLiKETRAiNS was all a bit Rail Riders). On the heels of 2007 album Elegies To Lessons Learned, they released a brilliant DVD of short films (much approved of by The Quietus, only to get dropped by their label.

Still, like the doughty characters who populate their songs, I LIKE TRAINS are carrying on, with a not-terribly-festive-sounding Christmas EP and UK, which begins tomorrow (December 5th) in Hastings. The full list of dates can be found below the always incredible video for ‘Terra Nova’:
