Ikonika Reveals New EP For Hyperdub, ‘Bubble Up’

The five-tracker draws on amapiano and deep house, and sees her make use of her own vocals for the first time

Ikonika has a new EP on the way via Hyperdub.

Her first solo release with the label since 2020’s Hollow EP, Bubble Up takes in five tracks that explore a more pop-leaning element of her sound and draw on influences of amapiano and deep house. Her vocals also feature for the first time on three of the cuts, which she describes as "queer love anthems for the dance floor." You can listen to one of those tracks, ‘When You Look At Me’, just below.

Hyperdub will release Bubble Up on November 25, 2022.
