IKEA Is Organising A Virtual Music Festival

The lineup includes Loraine James, ZULI and more

IKEA – yes, that IKEA – is putting on a 24-hour online music festival on September 16.

The programme is split across various areas of music and design, but will include a series of ‘Home Concerts’ — where acts will perform from their personal addresses — as well as a ‘DJ Relay’, which will include the likes of Loraine James, ZULI, Kaytranda, Badsista and TOKiMONSTA. More than 100 homes will be used as venues during the event, which can be experienced online or in IKEA stores, according to a press release.

Other highlights of the programme include ‘My Home Turf’, a series in which artists such as Indonesian vocalist NIKI, Danish songwriter MØ and Jamaican-American musician Masego will offer tours of their home cities. Find more information about it all here.
