Icarus Line Release Expanded Albums

Joe Cardamone and co release a series of extended editions of their albums to help fund future touring

The Icarus Line have released a series of digital versions of their back catalogue, including the rather great punk thrashes Mono and Penance Soiree, to help fundraise for future touring activity. These versions contain a host of additional material, including lost demos, alternative takes and live sessions, and can be bought from the band’s Bandcamp page.

Late last year, the Quietus’ Wyndham Wallace spoke to the band’s Joe Cardamone about the struggle to make a living out of music with the current state of the industry. Click here to read his in depth conversation with Cardamone.

Not long afterward, the band announced the release of a fundraising album to help raise money for future touring. These expanded editions represent a further step in that direction, and are being sold for a limited time to help fund the band’s tour with Killing Joke this spring. They will be taken off sale after the tour has finished.
