New Ian Brown Single Written For Rhianna

'Stellify' intended for R 'n' B star

Ian Brown has revealed that his new single ‘Stellify’ was originally written for R ‘n’ B star Rhianna to sing.

The former Stone Roses singer said: "’Stellify’, we wrote for Rihanna, but as we got to the end of writing it I thought, ‘You know what? I’m gonna keep this for myself, we’ll give her another one’.

He added: “She’d have probably sung it better, but it is too good for me not to do it. And then it was like, ‘Let’s just keep going’, and before we knew it we had half an album in the bag.”

Brown releases ‘Stellify’ on September 21, with his new album My Way following a week later on September 28.
