This year, writer and psycho-geographer Iain Sinclair has been curating 70×70, a season of 70 films that have featured in his work to celebrate his 70th birthday, which continues tomorrow at The Cinema Museum in London.
The event will feature screenings of Orson Welles’ 1958 film Touch Of Evil and Hitchcock’s masterpiece of suspense Psycho from 1960. Excitingly, Quietus favourites Mordant Music have produced a new score for the films, which will get its first airing tomorrow night, introduced by Mordant collaborator Chris Petit and Christopher Roth.
Doors are 6.30 pm for a 7.30 pm start; head to the museum’s website to get hold of tickets and read Sinclair introducing the films.
