Following the release of their excellent third album The Shallows, I Like Trains have announced a new EP and accompanying tour.
The four-track EP, Beacons features title-track as well as three brand new songs. The band will then play a run of 10 UK dates coinciding with the October release, before a 16-date European tour. The tour kicks off in their home-town Leeds, and the band are very pleased with their venue choice, saying "we’re really excited to be putting it on at the City Museum. After launching our last album at The Deep aquarium in Hull, we realised how special it can be to perform live music in venues people wouldn’t normally associate with live music." The Quietus was at the Deep gig and confirm it was really smashing watching the band play with bass swimming around above their heads.
The tour will take place in October, and tickets are available to purchase from the band’s website where the EP can also be pre-ordered.
