The House Of Love To Reissue Debut Album

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The House Of Love's debut LP, a new and expanded reissue of the record is on its way

This year, The House Of Love’s self-titled debut record turned 30 years old.

To mark the occasion, on September 28 Cherry Red are reissuing the record on vinyl and CD with a host of additional content.

A double-LP edition contains the original record as well as a second disc The Singles, which includes ‘Shine On’, ‘Destroy The Heart’, ‘Real Animal’ and more.

The 5CD set, meanwhile, includes the full album with two bonus tracks, an A-Sides, B-sides and Rarities disc, demos, BBC sessions from the period and a number of live recordings.

To mark The House Of Love‘s quarter-century in 2013, Ned Raggett looked back at length to find an LP that’s aged quite beautifully indeed. Read that feature here.

The House Of Love have a number of tour dates coming up in November, culminating in a set at London’s Roundhouse. Those dates are as follows:

NOVEMBER

01 – Bristol – SWX

02 – Manchester – Albert Hall

07 – Newcastle – Boiler Shop

08 – Glasgow – QMU

09 – Leeds – Becketts

10 – London – Roundhouse
