Houghton Unveils First Wave of Acts Playing 2025 Edition

British Murder Boys, Moin and Helena Hauff are among the acts playing the festival this summer

Houghton has shared the first wave of acts playing its 2025 edition this August.

Taking place across four days at its usual home on the grounds of Houghton Hall, this year’s event will host its biggest number of debuts to date. Among the live acts playing the festival for the first time in 2025 are British Murder Boys, Moin, upsammy, Rrose, Moritz von Oswald Trio, Marcel Dettmann, Holy Tongue, Mark Ernestus’ Ndagga Rhythm Force and Simo Cell.

Aurora Halal, Richie Hawtin, DVS1, DJ Krush, Objekt, Tim Reaper, Prince Fatty and Channel One are among the DJs making their debuts at the event, with upsammy, Rrose and Marcel Dettmann also listed to DJ in addition to their live sets.

The festival will also host a number of returning names, including Helena Hauff, Ben UFO, Batu, Ricardo Villalobos, Shackleton, Zip, SHERELLE and dBridge, who will both DJ and play live. Curator Craig Richards will also play a number of sets across the weekend, as ever.
