High On Fire Announce New Album

California metal band reveal details of seventh record

High On Fire have announced details of their seventh studio album. Entitled Luminiferous, it will be released through Century Media on June 22. Produced once again by Kurt Ballou of Converge, whose production credits also include the likes of Orchid, Isis and Kvelertak, the album follows 2012’s De Vermis Mysteriis. Take a look at the artwork above.

Frontman Matt Pike commented that the album saw the band "doing [their] part to expose The Elite and the fingers they have in religion, media, governments and financial world downfall and their relationship to all of our extraterrestrial connections in the race to control this world", concluding that: "Unless we wake from the dream, there will come true doom." Pike will be playing select shows across the world with his other project Sleep, including a stop in London as part of Desertfest on Sunday 26 April.
