Earlier this week, we kickstarted a new series of live highlights from last month’s Woodland Gathering in Cumbria.
IMPATV were representing at the festival filming some of the best sets and following on from Negra Branca’s set on Monday, which you can check out here, above is Grumbling Fur’s set.
Their set at the festival saw them reprise their special Time Machine Orchestra project, which sees the duo explore more expansive and extended, drone-led improvisations, with both providing vocals and switching between an array of instruments.
Grumbling Fur’s Alexander Tucker will soon release his first solo album in six years via Thrill Jockey, entitled Don’t Look Away. That album will be released on August 24, and last week Tucker revealed a second track from the album called ‘Visiting Again’, which you can check out here.
There’ll be more from IMPATV at Woodland Gathering on these pages next week so keep your eyes peeled.
