Grouper To Tour UK/Europe

Liz Harris to tour a special new performance, Violet Replacement

Grouper, the solo project of Portland’s Liz Harris, is to tour the UK and Europe between February and April this year, performing a brand new show entitled Violet Replacement. Harris’ music has long been concerned with processes of decay and the evoking of landscapes and the natural world, and this performance looks set to be no exception. Built from a collection of tape collages which were originally part of a commission for Issue Project Room in New York, it involves the live mixing of vocals, field recordings and tape. UK and Ireland tour dates run as follows (Harris’ European tour dates in full can be found at her website.)
