Aisha Orazbayeva, Beatrice Dillon and Lee Gamble are among those confirmed to play at London’s Cafe Oto next Saturday (July 15) as part of a benefit event for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire which killed at least 80 people last month.
"The aim is to raise a substantial amount of money to donate to charities and groups supporting the victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster," says Cafe Oto’s description of the event. "The artists participating are from a diversity of musical genres, they are united by their singular talents and an unswerving commitment to their art."
Beatrice Dillon will DJ, while Adam Bohman, Pat Thomas and Keiko Kitamurax will all play live as part of a matinee concert which will run from 2-4pm.
A later event running from 7.30-11pm will see Lee Gamble DJ as well as live sets from Aisha Orazbayeva, Howlround, Kuljit Bhamra, Shadow Justice Crew and Clive Graham of Paradigm Discs.
There is a recommended donation of £10 and minimum donation of £5, while Grenfell Tower residents, firefighters and NHS medical staff will all be granted free entry to the event. Find out more information here.
