Sunn O)))’s Greg Anderson has shared details of his second album of 2022 under his The Lord alias.
Titled Devotional, the record follows on from April’s Forest Nocturne and sees Anderson team up with vocalist and violinist Petra Haden, with whom he previously worked during his time in Goatsnake and on the Sunn O))) album ØØ Void. The new record is said to be inspired by deep listening to Indian classical music, as well as the life of Ma Anand Sheela and the Rajneesh community. Southern Lord will release Devotional on September 23, 2022.
