Green Man Announces 2020 Virtual Festival

Eels and Pictish Trail are amongst the acts involved

Green Man has announced plans for a virtual festival this month to replace this year’s edition of the event.

Eels, Pictish Trail, Stella Donelly, Father John Misty, and Adwaith will all play exclusive sets which will only be available as they stream, while there’s also a full performing arts programme and a planned preview screening of White Riot, Rubika Shah’s film following the Rock Against Racism movement of the ’70s. The online event will be streamed for free on Green Man’s Facebook, YouTube and Mixcloud pages on August 22 and 23, with a full schedule due to be announced soon.

This year’s Green Man was due to host the likes of Michael Kiwanuka, Mac Demarco, Richard Dawson, and Caribou from August 20 to 23, but has now been postponed to 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
