Green Man Confirms Plans To Go Ahead Next Month

The festival will return after being forced to cancel in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Green Man is set to go ahead as planned next month.

The festival, which is already sold out, will take place, as ever, in Crickhowell in South Wales, and will this year feature the likes of Nadine Shah, Caribou, Mogwai, Snapped Ankles, Greentea Peng, black midi, Jockstrap, Richard Dawson and Thundercat, among many others.

COVID-19 protocols will be in place at the event, with all attendees over the age of 16 having to show proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test within 48 hours of their arrival at the festival. Attendees can also gain entry with proof of full COVID-19 vaccination.

Fiona Stewart, Managing Director of the festival, says: "At times it seemed like a dream that we would ever be back in the fields together. I can’t tell you how much it means to me, and the thousands of people that rely upon and make Green Man happen, that it’s actually going ahead. We cannot wait to see people enjoy the festival again!"

Last year’s edition of the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A virtual edition went ahead in its place.

Green Man will take place from August 19 to 22, 2021. Find more information here.
