Quietus favourite and occasional scribe Gravenhurst, aka singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nick Talbot, will be playing a one-off gig for Vortex City Sessions at London’s Bishopsgate Institute this Friday, September 27.
He’ll be heading the bill with his Gravenhurst Ensemble, supported by fellow Bristolians SJ Esau, and may well be drawing on material from last year’s excellent The Ghost In Daylight album, one of the year’s finest in our opinion.
The gig comes as the first of three Sessions Vortex are holding at the Institute, set to be followed by Polar Bear in October and Enrico Pieranunzi Trio in November – for full details head here.
