Gonjasufi is releasing a new mini-album, entitled MU.ZZ.LE, through Warp on January 23rd. It is the follow up proper to last year’s excellent debut A Sufi & A Killer, whose production (by Flying Lotus and The Gaslamp Killer) veered wildly between droning psych, cosmic hip-hop, lo-fi soul and thrashy rock.
‘Nikels & Dimes’ finds him on contemplative but equally mind-blurring form, and sees him continue to pleasingly distort the spellings of his titles.
