Goldfrapp Announce Black Cherry Reissue

Out of print for some years, the duo's second album will be available on vinyl once again

Goldfrapp are reissuing their second album, Black Cherry. Above, you can watch a newly-produced lyric video for the album’s title track.

Originally released in April 2003, the album, which followed on from Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory’s debut, Felt Mountain, has been out of print for a number of years and yielded one of Goldfrapp’s biggest hits in ‘Strict Machine’ upon its release.

The new reissue, which is one of a number of forthcoming vinyl reissues from the duo, will see Black Cherry available again on purple vinyl with the package set to include an exclusive art print of the original artwork.

Mute / BMG will release the reissued edition of Black Cherry on September 27. It’s available to pre-order here.
