Golden Cabinet Announce Vessel Gig

Vessel, Some Truths and Ahrkh set to perform in Shipley

Ace Yorkshire promoters Golden Cabinet have announced plans to host Vessel at Shipley’s Kirkgate Centre on June 6, with support coming from Some Truths and Ahrkh. Seb Gainsborough, for Vessel is he, will likely be showcasing material from his latest studio effort, last year’s Punish, Honey. Writing about the record, tQ’s Adam Bychawski said that "Gainsborough seems to be testing not only what his crude instrumentation can withstand, but also his listeners." (Read the full review here.) Joining Vessel on the night will be Ralph Cumbers, better known as Bass Clef, with his modular synth project Some Truths. Some Truths will also likely be performing material from his latest record, , released Novemeber 2014. To mark the release of his latest record, Bliss Abyss, Cumbers recorded an exclusive live set for the Quietus last year, which you can hear <A href="http://thequietus.com/articles/16845-some-truths-deathwishbones-live-modular-session-bass-clef target="new">here. The show will follow Powell’s headline appearance on May 2 – get hold of tickets here – and will be the last before Golden Cabinet take a three-month break over the summer. Tickets are available here, and are priced at £12.
