God Unknown Records is putting on a 10th anniversary event in London this October.
Taking place at Walthamstow Trades Club on October 5, the special party will take in sets from a number of key label artists, such as Duke Garwood, Rainbow Grave, Cassels, Dez Dare, DRIFT., Laura Loriga and The Johnny Halifax Invocation. Further acts are also set to be added to the bill in the coming months, including a special headliner who has just signed to the label for a new album coming soon.
The event will be spread across two rooms, and there will also be exclusive merchandise on sale. Tickets are currently on sale at an early bird price of £25 for the first month – you can get one here.
Set up by Jason Stoll of Sex Swing, Mugstar and several other projects, God Unknown started life putting out split 7-inch vinyl records, inspired by Sub Pop’s Singles Club series. It soon developed into a full label, putting out albums alongside the 7-inch records, and has released music by the likes of Gum Takes Tooth, Low, Charles Hayward, Bruxa Maria, White Hills, Gnod and many more over the course of its first decade of operations.
