WATCH: Goat At Rocket Anniversary

Goat unleash their riotous brand of jazz-inflected rock on the Rocket Recordings' 20th anniversary last month

Yesterday we kicked off a series of recorded video performances from Rocket Recordings’ 20th anniversary celebrations with Zimpel/Ziołek’s full set, captured by IMPATV.

Today we follow up quickly on that with the full recording from Goat’s standout performance as part of the weekend-long celebrations which took place at London’s The Garage last month. You can watch it above.

Across more than an hour, the band bring their elaborate costumes and masks, as well as of course their signature meshing of funk, rock and all manner of other influences to the label’s party.

Earlier this week we also shared Goat’s video for their new track ‘Let It Burn’, which centres around the frequent arson attacks on the straw Yule goat which is erected annually in central Gävle, Sweden. You can watch the video and find out more about its background here.

Watch out for more from IMPATV and Rocket Recordings’ 20th anniversary bash on the site next week.
