Goat Girl have announced details of their debut album, set for release via Rough Trade in April.
Ahead of the release of the self-titled album, the band have also shared a new single called ‘The Man’. You can watch the video above.
The album takes in 19 tracks across 40 minutes and was produced by Dan Carey in his South London studio in the autumn of 2017.
"Simply put, it’s an album that comes from growing up in London and the first-hand experience of our city’s devolution," the band say. "We wanted to think of it as this place seen not necessarily just through our eyes, but someone who can’t get past the abnormalities and strange happenings that exist in our city. We think this gives the freedom lyrically and musically to explore unspoken truths and emotions that we all as humans feel."
Goat Girl is set for release on April 6, and can be pre-ordered here. The band will tour the UK and Ireland through April, kicking off on March 31 at Manchester’s Deaf Institute and finishing off on April 21 at Brighton’s The Haunt. For their full list of upcoming live dates, head here.
