WATCH: GNOD & Faust Live At Cafe Oto

Franco-Anglo-Spanish-Germanic out rock collaboration in Hackney captured on film. PLUS: GNOD to play greatest hits set at Rocket 20, voted for by fans

It was a truly beautiful night in Portugal last summer when two of Europe’s most singular psychedelic & exploratory bands Faust & GNOD played live together at Milhões de Festa in Barcellos.

The towering and hard-earned reputation of Faust belies their occasionally ramshackle live presence, so to have their numbers rigidly swollen by GNOD, who have developed road-drilled telepathy over the last few years, was an amazing sight.

The show then found its way to Cafe Oto where our pals at IMPATV were on hand to film the event, which you can watch above.

IMPATV are based up at Islington Mill in Salford and you can find out more about what they do by clicking on this link.

If you didn’t get to see GNOD play live, don’t worry you’ll get the chance again soon at the Rocket Records’ 20th birthday celebration and you can vote for which songs you want to hear.

GNOD headline the Sunday March 11 and have committed to playing a ‘greatest hits set’ as voted for by fans.

‘White Privileged Wank’ and ‘Stick In The Wheel’ naturally) click here.
