Following the announcement of their new album, entitled Genocidal Majesty, last month, Gnaw Their Tongues has now shared a video for the title track. You can watch it above.
Speaking about both the album and the title track, Maurice ‘Mauries’ De Jong, the man behind Gnaw Their Tongues, said: "Genocidal Majesty was composed in a period where I felt pretty low. The album is a pissed off feedback laden beast; filthy, nihilistic and noisy. The terrible state of the world is its biggest inspiration."
The album is set for release, via ConSouling Sounds, on February 9. In a press release announcing the record, the label said oppression and brutality are combined with an "overarching grandeur" on the Dutch artist’s first album since his 2016 release, Hymns for the Swollen, Broken and Silent, with the artist having swapped the traditional metal elements within his past sound for something even noisier.
