Glasvegas Singer Missing

Frontman not seen for five days

Glasvegas singer James Allan has been missing for five days, according to the rest of the band.

The Scottish rockers claim that they haven’t seen the frontman since flying home from a show in Italy last week, and were forced to cancel their scheduled live performance at last night’s Mercury Music Prize when they were unable to contact him.

Guitarist Rab Allan told The Guardian: "He probably needed some time out. He’s been working really hard on the new album, but we don’t know where he is right now. At first we thought he’d just gone AWOL for a bit or that he was not feeling well.

"Now we just really want to hear from him."
