Glastonbury Weather Forecast: Now Middlin’

Mostly dry apart from rain-soaked Saturday evening

This year’s Glastonbury goers are going to have to jam their bags full of all sorts of item to counter this year’s erratic weather.

People arriving at the festival on the Thursday should be able to enjoy some decent climes according to top-notch weather predictors Metcheck, who are forecasting sunny intervals with temperatures reaching a maximum of 22 degrees celsius and only the briefest spot of light rain between 4pm and 7pm.

The sunscreen may need to be swapped for a brolly on Friday night, though. Fans of Neil Young and The Specials, who both play the Pyramid Stage that evening, could be forced to endure heavy spells of rain from 4pm onwards.

Things should clear up on Saturday for a slightly more cloudy environment to enjoy Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Kasabian, while Sunday is set to be the best day of the weekend, with no predicted rain and temperatures of up to 25 degrees celsius, meaning dry sets for Blur and Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds.
