Shangri-La, one of the key late-night areas at Glastonbury, is to present a virtual event in lieu of this year’s festival.
The free virtual event, dubbed Lost Horizon, will spread across two days and will see Shangri-La recreated in 3D digital form. It will be available on PC, as well as smartphones via an app.
The event will stretch across four channels and will host the likes of Coldcut, Alabama 3, Peggy Gou, and more, as well as more than 200 visual art pieces, curated by the ShangrilART group around the subject of human connection.

This year’s Glastonbury would have been the festival’s 50th anniversary. It was cancelled in March amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
