GIT Award 2014: Final Call For Entries

January 31 closing date for entries to this year's 'Scouse Mercury Prize'

This year’s GIT Award, the prize recognising the best in new Merseyside music, is in full motion, with the closing date for entries fast approaching on January 31.

To enter, and have your music listened to by a judging panel including Simon Price, Jude Rogers, Alan McGee and tQ’s John Doran, artists and bands need to send four tracks to getintothis@gmail.com or post to Peter Guy, The GIT Award, Liverpool Daily Post & ECHO, PO Box 48, Old Hall Street, Liverpool, L69 3EB. Previous winners include Loved Ones and Baltic Fleet, and this year’s winner will take home the £1,000 prize from the awards ceremony at the Kazimier on April 11.
