This year’s GIT Award, the prize recognising the best in new Merseyside music, is in full motion, with the closing date for entries fast approaching on January 31.

Previous winners include Loved Ones and Baltic Fleet, and this year’s winner will take home the £1,000 prize from the awards ceremony at the Kazimier on April 11.
