This Tuesday, December 2, grime MC Ghetts is playing The Macbeth in Hoxton, as part of the venue’s ongoing Jack Rocks the Macbeth series. It comes after the release of his debut album, Rebel With A Cause, earlier this year, a full-length that’s been a long time in the coming, following the run of four mixtapes put out by the one-time N.A.S.T.Y. Crew member and, alongside Devlin and Wretch 32, founder of the Movement collective. This year also saw him taking home the Hardest Working Artist prize at the AIM Awards, in part for the app he developed to run alongside the album, featuring a preview, videos, news and a fan forum. Give the album a play in full below.
Full details of the gig are here, though we’ve got no less than three pairs of tickets to give away to the gig. To be in with a chance of winning, just send an e-mail to comps@thequietus.com, with ‘GHETTS’ in the subject line. The competition closes at 3 pm on Monday 1 December, after which we’ll pick the winners at random. To read the Quietus Competition Terms & Conditions, click here. Winners must be 18 years of age or over and will need to provide a copy of photographic ID in advance of receiving their prize.
