GENTS are a Danish duo making shimmering synth-pop that harks back to some of the peak moments of the genre in the ’80s, and they are currently gearing up to release a new two-track single.
Streaming above from that single is ‘Part-Time Lover’, a driving yet refined peach of a track which sprawls out across six minutes, synths swirling and unfolding with every climatic build.
‘Part-Time Lover’ is one of two new tracks from the duo, with the release also set to feature ‘Empty Shell’.
The duo describe the project thusly: "GENTS is a recreational space, where everyone is welcome to come and feel good, while we look for sense and meaning behind it all together. It’s a spa stay, where giving yourself a treat goes hand-in-hand with being naked and vulnerable around others."
The single, entitled MOMENTS, is out now via The Big Oil Recording Company.
