Gazelle Twin has signed to Invada Records ahead of the release of a new album.
The record, which is currently untitled, is due out sometime later in 2023. It will mark Gazelle Twin’s fourth studio album, following on from 2018’s Pastoral, and also comes after the artist, real name Elizabeth Bernholz, put out two soundtracks with Invada: 2020’s Welcome To The Blumhouse: Nocturne and 2021’s The Power.
In a statement, Bernholz said: "I’ve long admired Invada and what they do. Getting to know them over the last few years, seeing how hard they work and how committed they are to the artists they release – as well as their supporters – I know I’ve lucked out big time."
Invada founder Geoff Barrow added: "After having the pleasure of releasing two brilliant scores by Elizabeth, we are so incredibly happy to announce that she is signing to the Invada label as an artist. We’ve always loved her whole aesthetic which surrounds her art, so we feel honoured that she’s chosen Invada to release her new Gazelle Twin album."
Bernholz will mark the album’s release later this year with live shows at London’s Bush Hall (November 10), Newcastle’s Sage 2 (16) and Brighton’s ACCA (24). Tickets can be purchased here.
