Gazelle Twin has shared a new single called ‘Hobby Horse’. You can hear it above.
The track is the first to be unveiled from her upcoming album which is titled Pastoral and will be premiered live at this June’s Supersonic festival in Birmingham. You can find more details on that here.
‘Hobby Horse’ is set for release on June 22 just one day ahead of that performance at Supersonic. It will be released via Anti-Ghost Moon Ray, the label co-founded by Elizabeth Bernholz, and will be accompanied by a b-side track called ‘Deep England’.
Pastoral will follow later this year with a release scheduled for September 21. "Pastoral is an album that juggles British identities," Bernholz explains. "A musing on how a sordid past becomes ‘quaint’… and that there is horror in every Idyll."
You can pre-order ‘Hobby Horse’ here.
