WATCH: New Gary Numan Video

Gary Numan is stranded in a remote landscape on the video for his new single

Having recently announced details of his first album in four years, Gary Numan has now shared a video for lead single ‘My Name Is Ruin’. You can watch it above.

The video sees Numan stranded in a barren landscape setting, and sets the scene for the themes explored on the track and new album which sees Numan follow a narrative "set in an apocalyptic, post-global warming Earth in the not-too-distant future".

The album, entitled Savage: Songs From A Broken World, is Numan’s 22nd and will be released on September 15. Numan says of the album: "It’s about a desperate need to survive and they do awful things in order to do so, and some are haunted by what they’ve done. That desire to be forgiven, along with some discovered remnants of an old religious book, ultimately encourages religion to resurface, and it really goes downhill from there."
