Gallon Drunk are set to release their new album, entitled The Soul Of The Hour, on March 10, out via Hamburg-based label Clouds Hill. The record features new bassist Leo Kurunis, as well as the return of producer and Clouds Hill label boss Johann Scheerer after his work on the band’s last LP, 2012’s The Road Gets Darker From Here.
The band describe the album as “a howling celebration of survival and creative drive against the crushing weight of day-to-day existence” pushing into “uncharted musical territory”. The band will be playing an in-store in Rough Trade East in London to mark the record’s release on March 12, which will be followed by a short UK tour; take a look at the dates below and have a listen to the album above:
