The Barbican are set for Frizzi 2 Fulci, a Halloween event featuring the work of Italian horror movie composer Fabio Frizzi. Famous for his work with ‘The Godfather of Gore’ Lucio Fulci on films such as Zombie Flesh Eaters and The Beyond, the evening will celebrate their collaboration with film scenes and Frizzi himself, accompanied by the F2F Orchestra, the Alauda String Quartet and vocalists.
While Frizzi’s work sits comfortably alongside the work of excellent Italian film composers like Morricone and Goblin, it also shows its influence in the work of modern synth artists like Umberto and Boards Of Canada.
