Franz Ferdinand have announced a new album, titled Always Ascending. You can hear the disco-inflected title track above right now.
The album was recorded in London and Paris with the help of French producer Philippe Zdar of Cassius. Lead singer Alex Kapronos describes the sound of the new album as "simultaneously futuristic and naturalistic".
The band will launch the album via a Facebook live stream tonight (October 25) at 8.30pm BST from Paris’ Point Ephémère. They will preview a selection of tracks from the new album during the stream.
