Francois & The Atlas Mountains are reissuing their second album, Plaine Inondable, on November 5 via Domino. It follows the release of the French indie poppers’ third LP, E Volo Love, earlier this year.
Plaine Inondable cemented the group’s mix of François Marry’s crooning vocal talents with African rhythms and melodic lines, particularly those featuring on the Ethiopiques Mali 70 compilations. Have a watch of the video for album track ‘Be Water’ below:
