Kieran Hebden’s been busy of late, and appears to be abandoning his tried and tested album format for a while to bathe in more club-friendly waters, with a series of dancefloor-leaning 12"s released through his own label Text. There was springy house last year with ‘Pyramids’, and only a couple of weeks ago his latest, featuring ‘Jupiters’ and ‘Ocoras’, hit the shops.
Now he’s uploaded another new track to Soundcloud. In keeping with his current style, ‘128 Harps’ is a blend of his past and current approaches, with very Hebden-esque whirling harp figures set to a shuffly beat that swings between broken techno and two-step garage. Listen below.
