New Book To Document History Of Rave Flyers

Flying Over England, a new book from author Mike Pendegast, will collect rave flyers from the '80s and '90s

Author Mike Pendegast has launched a crowdfunding effort for a new set of books aiming to document the history of rave flyers from the late ’80s and early ’90s.

As FFACT reports, The book, called Flying Over England, will document the various visual forms that rave promotion took during the early days of acid house and raves in the UK.

It will feature Pendegast’s personal collection of flyers, set alongside personal anecdotes from his days of raving during that period. Initially, the book will be available in a run of 500 copies, and is set to be published by Duke’s Editions.

You can find more information, and support the crowdfunding effort to see the book through to its launch, here.
