Flying Lotus has confirmed details of his new album, Flamagra.
Due out on Warp Records on May 25, the album features guest appearances from George Clinton, Solange, Anderson .Paak, Little Dragon, Toro y Moi, Shabazz Palaces, Denzel Curry, Tierra Whack and regular collaborator Thundercat, amongst others. Flamagra comes almost five years on from the producer’s last album, You’re Dead! "I’d been working on stuff for the past five years, but it was always all over the place," he says. "I’d always had this thematic idea in mind – a lingering concept about fire, an eternal flame sitting on a hill.
"Some people love it, some people hate it. Some people would go on dates there and some people would burn love letters in the fire."
