Flying Lotus has followed the trend of marking Twitter follower number milestones by posting a free download, ‘Ideas+drafts+loops’, online, featuring, among other things, collaborations with Earl Sweatshirt, Baths, Shabazz Palaces and Niki Randa, who appeared on his 2012 album Until The Quiet Comes, his own rap persona Captain Murphy, as well as a remix of ‘Black Skinhead’ by Kanye West featuring Brainfeeder label mate Thundercat. He’s also stated that there’ll be another zip file of material sent out before the release of his as-yet-untitled next album.
