Floating Points Details New Album, ‘Cascade’

It's preceded by lead track 'Key103'

Floating Points has shared details of a new album, Cascade.

Spanning nine tracks, it takes in the previously released ‘Birth4000’ and ‘Del Oro’, as well as new single ‘Key103’, which you can listen to below.

Cascade was made while Floating Points, real name Sam Shepherd, was working on his first ballet score, Mere Mortals, for the San Francisco Ballet, with the artist opting to make music for the dance floor at the same time in order to maintain his connection with that world. It’s described by him as “kind of a continuation” of 2019 album Crush.

Ninja Tune will release Cascade on September 13, 2024.
