Field Day has just announced the content for this year’s Village Mentality, the village fête hosted by the festival. It will take place over both days of the weekend, June 7-8, in Victoria Park, London, and is described as being "the bunting-strewn, straw bale-filled heart of Field Day".
Village Mentality offers a variety of playful team games, so brace yourselves for competitive knot tying, three-legged racing, tug of wars and more. DIY-style side stalls will be set up around the area and Tate Britain and Etsy UK will be running drop-in workshops on the Saturday to celebrate Tate Britain’s upcoming British Folk Art exhibition.
Also expect performances from Hackney Colliery Band and The Farnborough Concert Band of the Royal British Legion. For more details check the festival website here.
