Field Day have just announced the range of food and drink vendors that will be serving on site during the festival’s excellent two days’ worth of music. There’ll be a couple of food options, with Street Feast, the night street food market set up in 2012, moving into the daytime for Field Day, saying, "Whether its Rainbo’s fresh & healthy gyoza or Hotbox’s 9 hour slow smoked beef ribs, there’s something for everyone, made by people with passion", while Clapham Common’s Venn Street Market will be returning for a fourth time and bringing Mamas Jerk, Mei Mei Street Cart, Taco Truck, Dhaba Lane, Wholefood Heaven, The Handmade Scotch Eggs Co, Anna Mae’s and more with them.
Greenwich brewers Meantime will be installing their Beer Tank on site for the weekend to put their lager on tap, while the London’s Brewer’s Market will be bringing together a host of local brewers, including The Five Points Brewing Company, Hackney Brewery, Beavertown Brewery, Fourpure Brewing Co and Late Knights Brewery. Also returning will be Tim Peaks, Tim Burgess’ own brand of coffee, cycling their way there, powered by caffeine: "We got our Tim Peaks coffee bike, Myrtle, just before Field Day last year so she’s really excited about pedalling there again," says Burgess. "We kind of see Tim Peaks as a public service at a festival, giving you a bit of a perk up when you start flagging. We’re happy to help. This year it’s two days, so that means twice the fun, twice the coffee. I’ll be trying out lots of the veggie food too, all in the name of research of course…”
