Fever Ray has shared details of a new album, Radical Romantics.
Their first studio record in more than five years, after 2017’s Plunge, the artist started work on the album in late 2019, working from the Stockholm studios that they built with brother and fellow former The Knife member Olof Dreijer. The two worked together on lead track ‘What They Call Us’, released last month, as well as a number of other cuts on the album, marking the first time they’ve collaborated on record since winding down The Knife eight years ago.
To mark the album’s announcement, Dreijer has shared a new track ‘Carbon Dioxide’, for which you can watch a video above. The track is co-produced by Vessel, who is among a cast of artists who have guest credits on the album. Others include Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Rezner and Atticus Ross; PrÃncipe Discos affiliate NÃdia; Aasthma (AKA Peder Mannerfelt and Pär Grindvik); and Johannes Berglund.
Rabid Records will release Radical Romantics on March 10, 2023.
