Jane Weaver Ambient Project To Release LP

The new project's first album references Marcell Jankovic's 1981 animated fantasy of the same name

Jane Weaver is set to release her first album with ambient project Fenella.

Recorded alongside bandmates Peter Philipson and Raz Ullah, the 17-track album, which is titled Fehérlófia, is inspired by Marcell Jankovic’s 1981 animated fantasy of the same name. You can watch a video for lead track ‘Bright Curse’ above.

It’s the latest in Fire Records’ reimagined scores series, which sees artists reproduce soundtracks for past works. The label will release the album on November 1. It follows on from Weaver’s last release, Loops in the Secret Society, which came out via Fire Records earlier this year.
