On Sunday 13th May the excellent darkwave troupe DVA Damas come to London to play a Mouth II Mouth the Shacklewell Arms, ably supported by Autumns and new Quietus favourites Primitive Knot, who sound like "a malevolently DIY Hawkwind while the vocals suggest that Killing Joke’s Jaz Coleman has been buried alive in a makeshift coffin fashioned from discarded pet-food packaging" according to our last Columnfortably Numb.
To mark this occasion, night promoter Faux Naif has put together a mix for us featuring all the artists on the bill which you can listen to above.
You can buy tickets for the gig here.
What’s more, Karl O’Conner AKA Regis of the Downwards parish has made a limited edition 50 copy run of cassettes (official cat no DNS1999) by the DVA Damas DVA Sound System to be given away on the door. We have a tape and a pair of guestlist tickets to give away via lucky dip if you email comps@thequietus.com with MIIM and your contact details.
