Fat Out Fest has shared the lineup for its 2023 edition.
Taking place in Salford across four days, the DIY event will kick off this year with a special collaboration between London-based record label Erased Tapes and the BBC Philharmonic orchestra at the University of Salford. Key artists from the label – such as Rival Consoles, Hatis Noit, Penguin Cafe and Douglas Dare – will rework their music for live performance alongside the orchestra.
Other events will feature live performances from the likes of GAIKA, Dawn Terry, Yossari Baby, Grove, Algernon Cornelius and Charles Hayward, who will collaborate with MC Dälek.
In a statement, Emma Thompson, Fat Out Fest’s Founding Director, said: "This year’s festival feels very special; it’s a beautiful collaboration programmed alongside some of my favourite creatives; Grove, Alphaville and Sexquisite. Get ready for an incredible array of noise makers arriving in Salford for our celebration of the underground."
Fat Out Fest will take place from September 21 to 24, 2023. Find more information here.
