London-based trio Famous have shared a new single, titled ‘I Want to Crawl Inside of You’, alongside news of upcoming tour dates supporting Black Country, New Road in the UK.
‘I Want to Crawl Inside of You’, which you can hear above, is one of the group’s oldest songs, written soon after they formed in the autumn of 2016. The track, a press release explains, "sets its sights on the intense boredom and tragedy of urban and adolescent life," and continues the themes explored on their previous mini album, England. Specifically,
Vocalist Jack Merrett describes the song as a "flawed" attempt to get to grips with the ennui of family structures and the possibilities of escapism opened up by music-making and generally being creative.
The band will support Black Country, New Road around the UK this coming week. Find the list of dates here.
